I comme

I've been young and I've been blind

20 Septembre 2013 , Rédigé par T.B. Publié dans #Poems

Some lyrics I wrote for...

Life is fine when war's a foreigner
Life is fine when misery crosses not our borders
We live peaceful under order
We live free under cover

We cannot shelter everyone
Our paradise is a private one
We may be the lucky ones
We may have been helpful once

I've been young and I've been blind
Once I thought this world was fine

We live the American way
Let the blossom of capitalism decay
We'll stand firm till the very last day
We have control, everything's okay

Others may be enslaved in our stead
Others may be paying our debts
We live with no sword upon our heads
Justice is our little secret jealously kept

I've been young and I've been blind
Once I thought this world was fine

We'll live happily
Keep on looking your telly
Sea may be eaten by the jelly*
Who cares? What matters is your belly.

This world, you like it?
Not matter you dream it a way or another
If you dream it better
We need to be allied kid !

Notes : *jelly is meant for jellyfish.
